Fan zone for the 2026 World Cup: here are the 5 municipalities in Charente-Maritime which are preparing their giant screen

In exclusivité, News La Rochelle has obtained the list of municipalities authorized to set up a fan zone during the French football team’s matches at the 2026 World Cup in Charente-Maritime. To follow the meetings Blues, you can of course go to the many bars which usually broadcast sporting events.
However, this article only lists official fan zonesthat is to say the towns having submitted a request to the prefecture to install a giant screen and organize a gathering of the public.

To this day, five municipalities have obtained this authorization. These fan zones could be set up if the French team qualifies for the semi-finals and a potential final.

Five cities will play the game

The municipalities concerned are:

• La Rochelle
• The Tremblade
• Rochefort
• Saint-Georges-de-Didonne
• Vaux-sur-Mer
