The Isère prefecture has taken steps to ensure public safety and tranquility during events organized as part of the Music Festival, which like every year will take place on June 21.
In addition to the strong mobilization of internal security forces on this occasion, across the entire department, regulatory measures will be put in place by prefectural decree from Friday June 19 from 6 p.m. and until Monday June 22, 8 a.m.
The carrying and transport of weapons, all categories combined, ammunition and objects which could constitute a weapon by destination will thus be prohibited; the wearing and transport by individuals, without legitimate reason, of objects intended to conceal all or part of the face in order not to be identified, or of protective equipment intended to defeat all or part of the means used by representatives of the public force to maintain order; the purchase, sale, transfer, possession and use of smoke bombs, firecrackers or fireworks on public roads; the transport of corrosive fuels, takeaway fuels and flammable gases.
