The Music Festival is scheduled for Saturday June 20 and Sunday June 21 in the streets of Bagnols-sur-Cèze. Around ten concerts in various registers, bringing together local artists and headliners, are planned in the city center.
This is the meeting which marks the kick-off of the summer evenings. The music festival returns to Bagnols-sur-Cèze. The event will take place over two days, Saturday June 20 and Sunday June 21.
“The objective was to allow those who work on Monday, or who prefer to stay quiet on Sunday evening, to still enjoy the festivities“, explains Christine Dey, culture assistant.
The program for Saturday June 20
The celebrations will begin Saturday at 8 p.m. on Place Auguste-Mallet with Le Grand show. As a first part, the guitarist duo Soul Waves will open the evening with soul, pop and French variety covers.

At 9 p.m., time for Dublin Soul, a tribute from the group The Commitments. Nine musicians will revisit the great classics of soul and rhythm’n’blues, from James Brown to Aretha Franklin, including Otis Redding, Tina Turner and Wilson Pickett. End of show scheduled for around 11 p.m.

The program for Sunday June 21
On Sunday, local artists will be in the spotlight. The choir La cigale Å“ur joie will perform at 5 p.m. at the Laure-Pailhon Hall. The Chorale De Si De La will be at Square Thome at 5:30 p.m. The Harmonie Les inséparables will take over at 6 p.m. at the same place. Half an hour later, the singer Marseille’s Ma’s Blue Key will take the stage at Place du Château.
At 7 p.m., the Anemos Ensemble will give a concert at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church. At the same time, the Bagnols Country Danse collective will offer a demonstration on Place Bertin-Boissin.

The evening will continue from 8:30 p.m. with three final meetings. The Route 66 group will ring out its rock’n’roll guitars on Place Auguste-Mallet.
On Place Jean-Jaurès, local artist Jennyfer Sanchez will perform a repertoire of French and international varieties.
Finally, the quartet The Shelby’s will take over Place Bertin-Boissin with a rock and country program, from Johnny Cash to the Rolling Stones, without forgetting the Pogues.

To accompany these two festive evenings, the restaurants in the city center will be open, with expanded terraces for the occasion. Reservations are recommended.
