The Grandrieunaise, Trails in Margeride and the Foyer rural de Saint-Symphorien have renewed their spring hike called rando ciné pâtes.Â
In the summer heat, the walkers came out in large numbers. The meeting was at the Grandrieu village hall.
A day between hiking, cinema screening and shared meal in Grandrieu
Forty people signed up for the first hike. For the journey of 10,2 kmthe walkers left towards La Chapelle, Le Bouchet-Grenier, they followed a portion of the Agrippa route before returning via Chazeaux and Les Mèdes.Â
The second of 6,3 km with twenty-two participants took the direction of the botanical trail, La Grange, crossed the RD 5 to go to the village of Mèdes, La Chapelle and returned to the starting point. On their return, a snack was offered to them.

After the aperitif which allowed you to get some fresh air, it’s time for the meal. Those responsible for Trails in Margeride had suggested to the members of the three associations to concoct different sauces to accompany the pasta. Among the twenty preparations, we could taste different sauces with mushrooms, goat cheese and wild garlic, shrimp bisque, chorizo tomato, blue cheese, etc. A real treat to garnish pasta. Guests could help themselves to whatever they wanted and taste several sauces according to their tastes.
