Gérald Missour, the current mayor, is running for re-election with the “Saint-Nazaire, our village” list. He is 50 years old and leads a team at the Departmental Conservation of Gard.
What are your motivations?
Continuing and completing the policy of major structural facilities is a first motivation. The second is to give cohesion to these achievements by allowing residents to come together, share, and live collectively. Intergenerationality plays a key role in my mind and would mark a new term.
Among the commitments made, which projects will be completed today? Many commitments have been fulfilled and completed: commercial hub, public square, Church renovation, school and town hall air conditioning, conversion to LED lighting for public lighting, more energy-efficient heating on public buildings, thermal insulation of the cafeteria, CCTV, children’s municipal council with participatory budget, Saint-Nazaire visits History… What are the main projects you will focus on if re-elected?
A possible new term would lead to the completion of the new cafeteria, the transformation of the current one into a municipal library, an intergenerational residence of 42 units, an intergenerational hall, the renovation of our roads, a memorial space, the beautification of our old squares, and a very important project that I am already working on related to intergenerationality. A project for an arts center that will be very challenging to materialize will also consume my energy.
