During the month of June, the themes chosen for the children who attend the MJC leisure center are: trip to the tropics for PS-GS, trip to Europe for CP-CE1, Flower Power for CE2-CM2. A rich and interesting program awaits the children during these recreational Wednesdays. Last Wednesday, the little ones made a surfboard in the morning and participated in a relay race in the afternoon while the PS-GS decorated a manta ray (French Polynesia). A floral fashion show was offered to CE2-CM2. The educational advantages of the relay game are the development of gross motor skills, competitive spirit, playing in a community, learning and listening to the rules of the game.
On the program for Wednesday June 17: creation of flip-flop key rings in the morning and sensory journey in the afternoon for PS-GS, creation of a lantern for the feast of Saint John (Poland) for CP-CE1, big game (the invasion of wilted flowers) for CE2-CM2. The MJC is organizing a 10-day stay in the Dordogne for children aged 9-11 with Marion, from July 7 to 16. Tent accommodation at the Bride du Cazal equestrian center.
