Barely three months later, new farewell words were written on Anaïs Baydemir’s Instagram account, intended for her dad. Two successive and heartbreaking disappearances which left her in immeasurable sadness. “After your mom, losing your dad… takes my breath away…” she wrote in the caption of her publication.

In the first, obviously taken during the weather presenter’s wedding in 2019, she kisses her father on the cheek. In the second photo, we see the journalist’s two parents, with smiles on their lips. “I have no more words, no names, just tearful eyes and a totally broken heart… I want to scream. Rest in peace, dad, mom, I love you”, writes Anaïs Baydemir. She adds a few words in Turkish, the language of her parents, originally from Izmir. She asks her Turkish-speaking readers to “pray so that [son père] rest in peace.”

The second celebrated its 4th anniversary in December 2025.
