BASTIA – The Creazione festival continues until Saturday

The Creazione festival continues at the Citadel of Bastia with two final days dedicated to island creation. On the program: the creators’ journey from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., a conference by photographer Fred Meylan on Friday at 2 p.m. and a masterclass by Paolo Amato devoted to the internationalization of Isula Parfums on Saturday at 2 p.m.

The evenings will be enlivened by concerts and DJ sets with Julie Negroni, Supplement Cheese All Stars, Lovster, Kelly Garrett, I Pignotti and Flo Menk.

The 11th edition of A fiera di u pane will take place on June 13 and 14, in the heart of the village of Lumio, between the oven of A Rimessa and the Corsu Bella Vista. Around thirty artisans and exhibitors are expected, including the bakers of Balagne. There will also be conferences, games for children, activities and concerts during this event labeled Fiere di Corsica

TAGLIO-ISOLACCIO – Technofascists, Native Americans and environmental history of Corsica in Galea

On the program for this Sunday, April 14 in Galea. 11 a.m.: “Nerd Apocalypse, how did the technofascists take power?” by Olivier Tesquet, head of the “investigations” unit at Téléra. 2 p.m.: lecture by Wanda Mastor “We the people or the forgotten people, a legal account of Native Americans”. 3 p.m.: “The true story of the Wild West, what reality behind the Hollywood myth”? by the historian specializing in Mexican California and the myths of the Far West, Emmanuelle Perez-Tisserant. 5 p.m.: “How to write the environmental history of Corsica?”, a round table around historians Gilles Guerrini, Laetitia Castellani, Denis Jouffroy and François Santoni. At the same time, from 2 to 5 p.m.: weaving workshops and antique games for children.

On June 12 and 13, we leave the city, heading to Brando for Ballà Boum, not really an old-fashioned ball, nor a festival as we know them and the promise, announce the organizers, of “two evenings of dance and love” on the village square.

On the program: electro music, with local and international DJs like Forever Pavot, the Germans Ryan Elliott and Roman Flügel and the Londoners from CAR to eat and drink as well. Like a summer air before its time.

GHISONACCIA/SOLENZARA – The singers of the Anima music school on stage

The adult singing workshop of the Anima Music School offers two end-of-year concerts: Friday June 12 at 7 p.m. at the Saint-Michel Church in Ghisonaccia and Sunday June 14 at 6 p.m. at the Saint-Paul Church in Solenzara. LUMIO – Premiere edition du festival MoVa

From June 15 to 21, the first edition of the MoVa Festival takes place in Lumio and its surroundings. SOLENZARA – Fisherman in celebration
