The South Korean team, and more particularly captain Heung-Min Son, has been the target of criticism from journalists who came to cover collective training in recent days.

The controversy will not have really demobilized the South Koreans. On the night of Thursday to Friday, the latter launched their competition perfectly by winning against the Czech Republic (2-1). A few days earlier, a controversy arose following a private conversation between journalists made public since their microphones had not been cut on television.

“Is it because he’s a captain that he runs like that, in section leader mode? Well, that’s not how you run in the army” suggested a journalist while the camera focused on Heung-min Son, former legend of Tottenham in the Premier League, current player of the Los Angeles Galaxy and captain of the selection since 2018.Â

Former Spurs player Son was mocked by reporters, who asked why he was running like a military platoon leader
