A Cypriot town, Varosha, victim of a Turkish invasion in 1974; a country, Ukraine, battered by a Russian invasion since 2022; a sea, the Mediterranean, the cemetery of thousands of migrants for too long; and a Middle East that has become a powder keg again since October 7, 2023: this is the backdrop to the sixth edition of the Festival of European Cinema and Cultures of the Maison de l’Europe Strasbourg-Alsace (Mesa).
