According to political scientist FARI Shabazz, the amateurism of Prime Minister Félix Moloua caused a major protocol affront during an official audience, plunging the Central African Republic into deep diplomatic isolation.
Â
The image published on social networks shows a astonishing scene which took place this Thursday, June 4, 2026. The head of the Central African government officially received the ambassador of Sudan by placing in the center of the table, clearly, a model of an airplane from the Ethiopian company Ethiopian Airlines. Political scientist FARI Shabazz describes this act as a real diplomatic earthquake and denounces the attitude of blind supporters of power who refuse to see its impact.
Â
Political scientist FARI Shabazz explains that this behavior constitutes either notorious incompetence or a gratuitous insult. General Abdal Fattah Al-Burhan’s Sudan is currently in open conflict with Ethiopia, particularly over the large dam on the Nile. Presenting the symbol of Ethiopian sovereignty under the nose of the Sudanese diplomat is a serious political mistake. This meeting is also taking place in a context where the Bangui regime is accused of serving as a logistical rear base for the Sudanese rebels of General Hemedti’s RSF. Political scientist FARI Shabazz insists on the fact that arms, fuel and mercenaries from Africa Corps, as well as South American fighters, transit through the North-East of the Central African Republic, notably through Birao and Am-Dafock, to destroy Khartoum and perpetrate massacres in Darfur.
Â
The consequences of this irresponsible management risk falling directly on the Central African population. Political scientist FARI Shabazz lists the direct threats that now weigh on the country. First, the regular Sudanese army now has legitimate grounds to carry out military strikes and target rebel convoys directly on national territory. Secondly, this act will aggravate the financial asphyxiation of the State: by alienating Egypt, Khartoum’s historic ally, as well as the rich powers of the Gulf, the power in Bangui is definitively cutting itself off from essential financial support while the public coffers are completely empty. Finally, political scientist FARI Shabazz warns that facilitating a rebellion accused of ethnic cleansing directly exposes Central African leaders to prosecution before international justice for complicity in war crimes.
Â
The observation drawn up by political scientist FARI Shabazz remains implacable: while citizens struggle daily to survive, the authorities of the Eighth Republic have fun playing sorcerers’ apprentice with regional geopolitics. The international relations of a sovereign nation cannot be administered like a simple neighborhood shop in Damara. After installing budgetary bankruptcy and insecurity, Félix Moloua adds his own personal contribution by causing diplomatic chaos. Political scientist FARI Shabazz concludes that the countdown is now on for this regime.
