River exposure at the Villette basin
Against the tide is a traveling artistic project by the duo Mr. & Mr, linking Sète to Paris by river. Departing from Sète on April 3 aboard the “Lusa”, a Mediterranean cruise ship, the artists traveled nearly 1,000 km of rivers and canals, passing through 171 locks to Paris. Conceived as a work in motion, the project combines navigation, meetings, collections and creation throughout the journey.
Upon arrival, it takes the form of a floating installation inspired by carnival giants, accompanied by a sound creation allowing you to discover the behind the scenes of the crossing. Built gradually over the course of the journey, the work integrates the landscapes, stories and contributions collected along the waterways. An extension of the White Night beyond the capital.

Life-size sculpture at the Grand Palais
The greatness of the heart in the literal sense. Big is my heart / My heart si bigger than my fear (“My heart is big / My heart is bigger than my fear”), a monumental pneumatic luminous sculpture is installed at the Grand Palais. Its red heart shape plays on a contrast between power and vulnerability. At its base, the word “Fear” appears discreetly, evoking the tension between openness and fear.
The work transforms at nightfall into a luminous lantern which envelops the space in red light and offers a visual and sensory experience around the fragility and strength of the human heart.
