In the presence of the new deputy…
In the presence of the new sub-prefect, the academy inspector, the mayors and elected officials of around fifteen municipalities, the first councilor Fabien Lainé cut the symbolic ribbon at the end of the morning. He then returned to the genesis of the project which began with “Cœur de village 1” in 2015, also mentioning “Cœur de village 3”, the next sports park operation.
If the state representative praised the financial package (1) of this achievement by describing the mayor as “a goldsmith in this field”, the director of the academic inspection praised the quality of the nursery school, declaring that it was “the most beautiful school in France”.
A delighted and surprised audience
The festive inauguration took place in the evening, in the presence of the mayor of the Spanish twin town of Ribadesella, Paulo Garcia, and many Sanguinet residents who were able to visit the new premises. The gaming area was taken over by children while the auditorium, in cinema mode, allowed visitors to appreciate the quality of the sound. The edutainment library and the tourist office were well attended, as were the new pitchouns school and the rooftop, offering a lovely view of the square and the village.
These enthusiastic visits were led by numerous musicians, spread between the Market Square and the socio-cultural center, while young Tchancayres strolled from the school courtyard to the square, via the atrium. Also on the program, the polyphonic songs of the Gascon group Lo Vent de l’Estey mingled with the traditional Asturian ensemble of Ribadesella, before a sound and light show projected on the walls of L’Amassa.
It was a great inauguration with a delighted public surprised by the quality of the interior equipment of these places.
