Drying out and warming up to start the weekend in Southwest Florida

FORT MYERS, Fla. —

Saturday is shaping up to be the pick of the weekend here along the Gulf Coast. The chance for rain is low and the temperature will be trending near the average for this time of year. Your Gulf Coast Weather Most Accurate Forecast has a high of 91 degrees with more sunshine expected tomorrow.

Sunday will trend even hotter with a higher rain chance, too. Humidity is expected to increase on Sunday as well, meaning feels-like temperatures will reach the triple digits.

By early next week, rain chances will climb even higher. Starting Tuesday, expect more widespread rain chances that’ll bring higher rainfall accumulations thanks to a disturbance expected to move into the Gulf.
