He certainly said more or less the same thing as to Bourgoin-Jallieu a few hours before. But it works: “I love Vienna, it’s my favorite city in France,” says Kev Adams as he enters the room full of 385 spectators at the Amphi cinema. Laughter from the spectators, not fooled. The actor and comedian presented the film he wrote and in which he stars, The maison de nos rêves. The story of the purchase of a house in life annuity by a couple in their thirties (Kev Adams and Camille Aguilar) from Nicolette (Chantal Ladesou), a woman they think is close to death.

Chantal Ladesou, the grandmother of all French people

Kev Adams thought of the actress, absent Thursday evening, with whom he has become close since the show Mask singer and whom he considers to be his “third grandmother”: “She is the grandmother of all French people. Chantal, who is 196 years old, the muse of Louis XVI.” Kev Adams puts on the show and continues: “She is absolutely brilliant, touching. It’s a mix of Meryl Streep and Auntie Danielle.”

Claude Zidi Jr., director notably of Retirement home film and series, comments: “We worked a lot to make you laugh. Thank you for your curiosity. I would dream of staying with you to watch the film because a full house like that is a real pleasure.” A few questions and autograph signings later, the small troupe must leave to continue the promotion in Saint-Étienne. In Vienna, the film begins, and so does the laughter.
