On June 7, 2026, “Dimanche en politique”, the political magazine of France 3, welcomes Pierre Jouvet, general secretary of the Socialist Party, European MP, Florence Portelli, vice-president of the Republicans, and Mathieu Lefèvre, Minister of the Transition ecological. They are questioned by Francis Letellier with “carte blanche” to Laurence Peuron, political journalist at France Inter.
Every Sunday, Francis Letellier offers 45 minutes with political figures to explore their ideas and take the time to argue. Political news is also covered through reports and interviews, and the “carte blanche” of journalists specializing in French political life.
On the set, three guests successively answer Francis Letellier’s questions.
The presidential campaign continues this week with the first meeting of Jean-Luc Mélenchon, leader of La France insoumise. On the left, the Socialist Party is proposing a double primary to partners who already did not want to participate in a simple primary. On the right, Bruno Retailleau, head of the Republicans and declared candidate, still fails to unite his political family behind him.
Behind the presidential race, there are programs and issues for the French. Will the ecological transition count in voters’ choices? Will forced electrification take place to avoid the energy crisis linked to conflicts? In the name of food sovereignty, are we going to increase yields? Health versus productivity: will we have to choose?
