The Champions League 2025-2026 Round of 16: Results and Draw
Things are getting serious. Wednesday night saw the conclusion of the 2025-2026 Champions League playoff round with the final four matches on the schedule. The teams advancing to the Round of 16 have been determined.
In a French showdown, PSG, who won the first leg at Louis II (3-2), settled for a draw in the second leg at Parc des Princes against AS Monaco. Despite trailing 1-0, the reigning European champions managed to secure their spot in the next round.
In other matches from the evening, Atalanta Bergamo, Real Madrid, and Galatasaray also secured their places in the next round.
This Friday, February 27 (12:00 CET), a draw will decide the matchups for the Round of 16. The pairings have already been predetermined. Each team that advanced from the playoffs has two potential opponents in the Round of 16, to be decided from the top eight teams from the group stage. For example, PSG/Monaco will face either FC Barcelona or Chelsea.
