The Electric Venus. By Pierre Salvadori with Pio Marmaï, Anaïs Demoustier and Gilles Lellouche. Paris, 1928. Antoine Balestro, a young, fashionable painter, has been unable to work since the death of his wife and drives Armand, his gallery owner, into despair. One drunken evening, Antoine tries to contact his wife through a clairvoyant. Without knowing it, he is actually speaking with Suzanne, a modest fairground worker who slipped into the trailer to steal food. Suzanne proves to be gifted at imposture and, quickly assisted by Armand, she goes through a series of false sessions. Little by little, Antoine finds inspiration again, but for Suzanne things become complicated as she slowly falls in love with the man she is manipulating. Wednesday 3 and Saturday 8 at 8:30 p.m.

Parallel stories. By Asghar Farhadi with Isabelle Huppert, Virginie Efira and Pierre Niney. In search of inspiration for her new novel, Sylvie spies on her neighbors across the street. When she hires young Adam to help her in her daily life, she is unaware that he will turn her life and her work upside down. Thursday 4 at 8:30 p.m. and Saturday 7 at 5 p.m.

L’abandon. By Vincent Garenq with Antoine Reinartz, Emmanuelle Bercot and Emma Boumali. Everyone knows the name of Samuel Paty, professor of History and Geography, brutally murdered after leaving college, but few people really know his story. In the light of the investigations and trials, this film looks back on his last eleven days, and the spiral that led to his tragic death. Tuesday 9 at 8:30 p.m.
