It has now been many years since the writer Marc Lévy set down his suitcases in the United States. It is in New York that he took up residence, in the Manhattan district more precisely. There, he lives like an anonymous person and leads a life much quieter than in France.
In the West Village, the author profits the historical charm of the place and streets lined with elegant buildings. He does not have a spectacular residence, but a warm house, where he accumulates travel souvenirs, personal objects, and books, of course. This space is ideal to find inspiration and relax whenever he wants.
Yannick Noah’s vast duplex
À New York, Marc Lévy adopte a relatively sober lifestylefocused on writing. During a report on France 3, he confided in his desire to live in Manhattan: “It’s like asking a sailor why he spends his life on a boat. It’s because he loves the sea. I fell in love with this city when I was twenty, I always dreamed of living there“.
But Marc Lévy is not the only one to have come to settle in the neighborhood. Yannick Noah owned a large duplex there. It was in the 1990s that he acquired this exceptional property.
