President Volodymyr Zelensky held a special meeting to define strategic priorities for the coming weeks. This working session brought together the head of the President’s Office Kyrylo Boudanov, the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Roustem Oumerov, as well as the first deputy prime minister and energy minister Denys Chmyhal.
“We are in contact almost daily with the representatives of the President of the United States and our European partners. We took stock of the current situation of air defense deliveries and, generally speaking, of our agreements,” a déclaré Volodymyr Zelensky sur son compte Facebook.

The head of state also specified the short-term road map: “We have defined the priorities for the coming weeks: anti-ballistic defense, bilateral documents on the production and supply of drones, in particular the Drone Deal with the European Union, and the preparation of meetings in several formats. We are preparing for important negotiations, for the moment without public details. HAS”
On the humanitarian level, the president insisted on the absolute necessity of continuing the humanitarian aspect and honoring the exchanges of prisoners already in place. He personally instructed his team to contact international partners able to activate the necessary mediations.
Furthermore, new decisions to support Ukraine are expected, particularly affecting the energy sector. In Washington, the Ukrainian request to obtain additional anti-aircraft defense missiles in order to protect Kyiv from Russian strikes receives a favorable reception. Senator Richard Blumenthal and member of the House of Representatives Jim Himes publicly called on the United States to respond positively to this request.
