Two months after a first ITF junior title – in singles – in Algiers, Justine Fuchs (ASM Belfort) added a second line to her record. It was in Tunisia, this time, on the courts of Kairouan (outdoor hard court) that the Jura resident of Belfort Tennis Performance won a trophy.

Seeded No. 2 in the table, the young 15-year-old player first won her three group matches without conceding a single set and only dropping six games. After a well-negotiated quarter and semi-final (6-2, 6-4 and 6-3, 6-2), Justine Fuchs finished the job by beating Tunisian Ayadi, No. 1 seed, 7-5, 6-1 in the final.

664th in the world ranking among juniors this week, the Franc-Comtoise is also the No. 6 French under-16 and will be able to approach the fourth day of the Interclubs with ASM Belfort with a good dose of extra confidence…

Among the boys, Maël Houser (Besançon TC), 14, discovered the ITF Junior circuit. Coming out of the groups with three victories (including two in the super tie-break), Bisontin then lost 6-1, 6-3 in the quarters against the No. 1 seed of the tournament (and future winner), the Cameroonian Ekango.
