Around fifty people attended the show on Thursday, May 28, in the green setting of the shared gardens on rue Saint-Roch.
For the third consecutive year, the Les Pierres posées association took part in National Family Pensions Week, Thursday May 28. A notable edition, since it has joined forces, this time, with the Departmental Union of Family Associations (Udaf) to honor the residents of their two structures. At the heart of the event: “Culture in all its guises: a day to weave together†.
Behind this beautiful project, months of collective preparation. “Supervised by Marie-Josée, Aurélie, Karine, Morgane and Bernadette, our residents have met two half-days a week since January to build the entertainment program for this special day themselves,” underlines Philippe Palpacuer-Larguier, director of the association. A human adventure which has visibly left its mark. For Émilie Jacquot, the results are clear: “We felt, throughout the meetings, a real dynamic within our teams and among the people we welcome. It was a first, but certainly not a last.” For this special day, the residents brought to life a show made up of several skits that were as tender as they were amusing. There we found, among others, a group of friends seated at the café, passionately debating their musical tastes, or even a speaker constantly interrupted by a gardener who was, to say the least, intrusive.
A song written by residents
The performance ended with flavors and smiles, with a discussion around gastronomy and its well-intentioned expressions (the icing on the cake, talking about salads…). The public got involved in the game and one spectator shared a moving memory: that of her grandfather’s grilled pig, every summer.
The day continued in a festive mood, with a succession of demonstrations as varied as they were exciting: tango, java, oriental dance… and even tai chi. To end this beautiful day, residents and the public parted in song to a tune borrowed from Joe Dassi, “Aux Champs-Élysées†, revisited for the occasion into a tasty “Aux Pierres posed†. An escape game ended the day in style.
