A real sensation of this fourth edition, Daniel Jade (2009) will experience his very first final on a Future. This will be the second doubles for his two playmates Pierre-Antoine Faut (2007) and Mickael Kaouk (2008). A satisfaction for Charles-Antoine Brézac, one of whose objectives was, by creating this tournament in 2023, to give the young French nuggets the opportunity to show themselves. “It’s great because I always said that the tournament was a springboard for young people. Jade made her first ATP point last year here in Carnac. A year later, he will experience his first final. We are exactly what we want to do. First final for Faut and Kaouk
After a huge battle of 2 hours 55 minutes the day before against Mathys Domenc (16 years old), Daniel Jade showed that he had recovered well against Hugo Car, blunted and diminished by leg pain (6-2, 6-3 in 1 hour 05′). He will be aiming for his very first career title. A similar objective for the Faut-Kaouk tandem facing the foreign pair composed of the Moroccan Younès Lalami Laaroussi and the German Marlon Vankan. In the half, the French needed five match points to beat Dan Added and Arthur Nagel (7-6 (6), 3-6, 11-9). “We play well together,” assures Faut, originally from Issy-les-Moulineaux. We just made a semi-final at the last Future in Angers. It’s cool to make it to the final. That was the goal.”
