For several weeks, Nolwenn Leroy has been starring in L’Ét© 36, the new TF1 drama starring Julie de Bona, Sofia Essaïdi and Constance Gay. An ambitious project which allows her to confirm her growing appetite for comedy, she who has been playing roles in front of the cameras for several years and seems to be fully flourishing there. A successful reconversion for the one who had first cut her teeth on the stage before gradually establishing herself on the small screen. But if she has clearly found her feet as an actress, the winner of the Star Academy has not yet turned her back on what revealed her to the general public more than twenty years ago. In an interview with Télé 7 Jours, she sincerely confided her desire to reconnect with music, after a long period of decline. An admission that should delight his many fans, who are still so attached to his special voice.

Long presented as a simple parenthesis, the adventure of comedy finally took on a whole new dimension for Nolwenn Leroy. “Before, I presented this as a parenthesis and, ultimately, it is a parenthesis which is taking on a much greater magnitude than what I could have hoped for”, she admits with surprise. The 42-year-old artist does not hide the pleasure she takes in discovering herself in this universe. Despite everything, the musical scene continues to call her. “I also want to make music again, which is my organic passion. I miss the stage and the contact with the public a lot,” she confides. A statement that should delight her fans, especially since her last album dates back to 2021. A break that she fully embraces: “After twenty years, I had reached a stage in my journey where I certainly needed a breather to find the desire again”.

If no album has yet been officially announced, Nolwenn Leroy assures that things are progressing slowly but surely. “I don’t have anything specific to announce to you, but I’m getting back to it,” she confides. A confidence which suggests a return closer than it seems, for those who recognize that this recovery took time and a real creative questioning. Because the singer has always operated at her own pace, far from the permanent agitation of social networks. “It’s always complicated, in our time, to take the time. You have to constantly occupy the space, be there,” she observes lucidly. A pressure to which she has always refused to give in. “When I disappear, I really disappear and for a long time,” she admits. But today, the desire is indeed back: “I miss it terribly.
