Social networks are on fire. Since May 27, Yoan Louis, a Toulouse hairdresser from Montpellier, is creating buzz for his resemblance to the actor Pierre Niney. These are our colleagues from The Midday Newspaper who noticed the 34-year-old young man through his videos posted on the internet. “It has already happened to me that people came into the living room thinking that I was Pierre Niney and that I was in the middle of filming. It started last year following a real story that I posted on TikTok where I recounted an experience that happened to me in a clothing store, and people went a little crazy in relation more to the resemblance to Pierre Niney than in relation to the content of the video.” he explains, dryer in hand.

A resemblance which amuses him a lot and which has earned him tasty nicknames, particularly in reference to the actor’s cinematic successes, such as The Count of Monte Cristo: “There was the Count of Monte Ciseau who was not bad, Pi-Hair Niney, or Pierre nin-hair too, there were two or three nuggets all the same. Now I have fun challenging people and asking them to be a little more original because I’m getting some good hits by looking at the comments.” he smiled. The young man, who cut his teeth in Paris, is truly passionate: “I like contact with people, I like bringing them something positive, offering them a place where they feel good, and having their little glow up.” But then, what does the daily life of a Pierre Niney lookalike look like? “On Instagram, people thought it was really him or the AI because obviously in terms of the voice in particular there were similarities. I ended up making up my mind. As soon as I go out in the evening or go to brunch I am constantly stopped in the street.”
Pierre Niney never responded to his messages
Did he contact Pierre Niney? “I had tried to contact him once or twice via Instagram, but I never heard back. I would like to say to him: ‘sorry for all the notifications’. I don’t want to fall into the caricature of a double and live a life that is not mine, so I avoid venturing too far into that territory.” And this sudden notoriety is not without consequences: Yoan has been approached by several productions, but he wishes to remain in his favorite field : “I have been offered quite a few professional projects related to my likeness, notably commercials, but also season 13 of Secret Story. I also refused Ninja Warrior. On the other hand, if visibility can lead to opportunities that are linked to my professional activity, then I will be really very happy. Get me a makeover, podcasts related to hairdressing, social issues related to hair.” he concludes, optimistically. A real star seed!
