The singer unveils this Friday a single entitled “It’s Who’s Turn”, in collaboration with DJ Lewis.
The discreet singer is releasing this Friday, May 29 a single entitled Whose turn is it?concocted with DJ Lewis, and herald of a new album, in the fall. The music video accompanying this song will be released Monday June 1st.
A title with very farmerian accents, in the text with electro sounds.
“Who’s turn is it / Refuse the dark / ‘Servile and I crumble’ / What a sad adage / And the world is deaf / The uniform is dark / Still breathe…where? / But what a shipwreck”, she intones in a cryptic refrain to which her fans are accustomed.
DJ Lewis is none other than the son of Hervé Lewis, Mylène Farmer’s physical trainer since 1989 and one of her closest friends since the 1980s. He was also Johnny Hallyday’s official coach. And it was also through Hervé Lewis that Mylène Farmer introduced Yvan Cassar to Johnny in 1996.
Stadium tour
The young Parisian DJ recently collaborated on Drake and Partynextdoor’s project, which earned him a Grammy nomination.
After more than 40 years of career, Mylène Farmer’s success cannot be denied.
