In this context, the Arthezienne media library participated in the event by offering, Thursday, May 21, the concert “ICI Là -Bas” by Émilie Décla from the Kôhba Company based in Pau.
Spectators were able to experience a musical journey through languages and cultures, for young and old. “Rhymes and lullabies accompany our first memories,” explains the artist. They tell our origins, our emotions, our stories.” In this poetic concert, rare voices and instruments – sanzula, Tibetan bowls and other sonic treasures – met to awaken, soothe and amaze, during a suspended moment to celebrate diversity and gentleness of childhood.
Link to each other
“In this sensitive encounter, experienced as a family from a very young age, music is the first link to others and to the world, specifies librarian Gaëlle Métesreau.â€
Two sessions reserved for the early childhood and school receptions of Arthez allowed the nursery schools of the public school and the Saint-Joseph school, as well as the Amayra childminder relay, i.e. 80 people, to benefit from this exceptional event.
