For two days, the large hall of the MIN in Cavaillon will be transformed into a true temple of Japanese pop culture with events, concerts, guests and discovery spaces intended for all audiences.
Installed over more than 4,000 m², the event promises complete immersion in the geek universe. On the program: Japanese arcade machines, retrogaming, video game tournaments, cosplay competitions, designer stands, specialized boutiques, illustrators, exhibitions and meetings between YouTubers and enthusiasts. The organizers also announce the presence of numerous exhibitors from all over France.
Distinguished guests
Among the expected guests is Japanese singer Hiroki Takahashi, famous for his interpretations linked to the Dragon Ball universe. Visitors will also be able to meet the French voices of famous people. A concert by the group “Pixel Syndrome” is also announced during the weekend.
With this first edition, the organizers of the Cavaillon Geek Festival hope to attract both informed enthusiasts and families curious to discover a universe that has become essential.
Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the MIN de Cavaillon, (92 avenue Pierre Grand). Prices: €7 adults, €5 children. Free for young people. “Weekend passes” and skip-the-line tickets will be offered.
