The Eurometropolis’ media libraries celebrate gaming in all its forms

A major gaming festival will take place this Saturday, May 30 in the various media libraries of the Eurometropolis. Young and old will be able to enjoy multiple activities around board games, role-playing games, video games, puzzles, etc.murder party ou encore expériences de réalité virtuelle.

Ready for a tournament Mario Kart at Frida-Kahlo, a Giant Werewolf session outdoors at Pourtalès, puzzles at André-Malraux, a Cluédo giant in Gisèle-Halimi, a role-playing game in Neudorf, wooden games in Simone-Veil or even an investigation in Hautepierre? This Saturday May 30the media libraries of Strasbourg and the Eurometropolis celebrate the game in all its forms through dozens of activities offered all day long on the different sites.

The opportunity to have fun with classics of the genre (chess, tarot, Scrabble, board games, puzzle…), but also to discover other worlds with introductions to traditional Asian games or inspired by Greek Antiquity. Activities will be dedicated to young audiences (learning toys, giant wooden games…) and others will allow older children to engage in interactive investigations, a role-playing game or a murder party. As a reminder, it is possible to borrow thousands of video games and board games from the network all year round.

In Strasbourg, a giant solidarity pétanque tournament to help students

Ce samedi 30 maithe Coup d’bol marauding and food distribution association invites Strasbourg residents to the second edition of the Stras’pétanque solidarity tournament, at the Citadelle park. From 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., participants will be able to compete with their boules and jacks, while working for a good cause. All profits will be donated to the student solidarity grocery store Agoraé Strasbourg, supported by Afges, and will finance food shopping and hygiene products.

The tournament is open to everyone, beginners and experienced players alike, and will be played in teams of two. Participants will be able to arrive throughout the day.

Registration for the tournament on coupdbol.org and HelloAsso. Free price and possibility of supporting the initiative via a solidarity ticket for those who do not participate in the tournament.

Hot·te queer : le marché de créateurs LGBT + arrive au Karmen Camina

The new edition of the queer creators’ market will be held Saturday (13 h-20 h) and Sunday (13 h-18 h) at the Karmen Camina, at the Tobacco Factory. More than twenty artists will be present to offer their works, including illustrations, ceramics, clothing and jewelry.
