Raising culture among young people: the mission of the Territorial Contract for Artistic and Cultural Education (CTEAC) operates all year round. But every first half of June, for four years now, it has offered those under 25, artists and cultural associations in the area a very special spotlight. The culmination of a year of work: Creations.

A 4e  édition étoffée

For its fourth edition, the event, which will be held from 1is As of June 12, it has expanded further. Around fifty partner establishments, 35 artistic actions, more than 6,000 festival-goers and 3,000 young people aged 0 to 25 in action. The partnership between the rectorate, the DRAC and the Department thus makes it possible to bring together artists, beneficiaries and the general public around three pillars: “meet, know and practice”, recalls Lionel Faivre, coordinator of the system and the festival. And this, both during school time but also outside, with the involvement, for example, of the Second Chance School, the early childhood relays, the hospital center or even the local Mission.

The unmissable

To start these ten days of festival, cinema and music will be in the spotlight on the 1stis June in a film concert, before a screening of the short film by director Clément Simon, retracing the 3e  édition de Créactions.

The end of the festival should also reserve some great artistic moments, including the Cabanes early childhood workshop, on June 12 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., or the traditional show by the CHAT class from Theuriet college at the Acb. A little new thing this year, however: an artistic permanence will be held within the Saint-Antoine church, to meet the artists and discuss directly their artistic process.

Free festival, except the show Rave Lucid (usual ACB price), May 29. Reservations required or recommended for certain shows on billetweb.fr. Detailed program on meusegrandsud.fr.
