Publicis launches 2026 with a lead in the United States and China
Despite market consolidation, the Group will remain a leader in media buying in key sectors for international clients.
Monday 23 March 2026 – Paris – Publicis Groupe [Euronext Paris FR0000130577, CAC 40] has once again outperformed the competition in new business, for the 7th consecutive year, according to COMvergence’s New Business Barometer1 released today.
The report reveals that Publicis ranked #1 in 2025 for overall new business performance, with gains six times higher than its closest competitor, also securing the top spot in net new business, globally and regionally.
In the United States, the group increased its share of budgets from 36% to 42%2, confirming its leadership despite the merger of the 3rd and 4th players in the market last year. The same trend is observed in China, where new business gains allow Publicis to confirm and further increase its lead, with nearly 20%3 of media investments.
