  1. New network of strategic alliances

The Indra group has taken a decisive step in its industrial consolidation strategy in Catalonia after having formalized 19 strategic agreements with companies, SMEs, start-ups, research centers and reference entities in the scientific and technological fields. This initiative strengthens its role as a driving force in the configuration of the new industry of defense, security, space, mobility and dual-use technologies.

These agreements were signed within the framework of the IVth Meeting of the National Defense Industry Ecosystemwhich was held in Barcelona, and constitute tangible progress in the deployment of Special Modernization Programs (PEM). Thanks to these alliances, the Indra group will integrate technological capabilities with high added value into large-scale industrial projects, reduce development times and accelerate their operational implementation in key strategic areas for technological sovereignty.

With this in mind, the company is thus consolidating a stable and open cooperation model with leading Catalan companies and centers in dual-use technologies – such as supercomputing, optical technologies or advanced communications – presenting strong potential in the field of security and defense. An approach that makes it possible to connect knowledge, technology and specialized talents, to strengthen technology transfer and to accelerate the development of solutions with high added value for strategic sectors, in a context marked by industrial transformation and the need to progress towards technological autonomy.
