Here is his summary: “The object of all desire, the World Cup was first the subject of internal struggles within FIFA before becoming that of a quest for freedom. Finding its origins in the aftermath of the First World War, revived by its first South American champion, it then continued to resist the turbulence of the world around it to become the biggest sporting event. Through its History, told from the qualifiers to the final, and the stories of sometimes little-known selections having participated in the various editions, this book covers more than a century of football, offers the possibility of rediscovering the greatest legends, of reliving the greatest moments and of discovering all the heroes of the greatest novel of the sport king. The book has enriched content allowing you to relive the various editions on video and presents all the results of the final phases of the twenty-two editions of the World Cup.
