Iran, Lebanon … An existential threat to Israel and the United States?

Three weeks of war in Iran, multiple fronts, and the two allies Israel and the United States still hand in hand both literally and figuratively as seen in a video published on March 17th on Benyamin Netanyahou’s X account in the presence of US Ambassador to Jerusalem Mike Huckabee. Over 11 million views. And a double message for the Israeli Prime Minister: I am very much alive despite rumors describing me as an AI on social media, and I am successfully obtaining the main heads of the Iranian regime.

Another two major figures targeted by Israel this week: Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council in Iran, and General Gholam-reza Soleimani, head of the Basij militia, a private police force under the authority of the Revolutionary Guards that controls the citizens. Two leaders of the Mullahs’ regime eliminated by Israel that resonate with the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on the first day of the Iran war, and the intelligence services’ firepower, we will talk about it.

Meanwhile, in the United States, intelligence officials are embarrassed, and the president seems embroiled. Joe Kent, director of the National Counterterrorism Center, resigns dramatically stating, “Iran did not pose an imminent threat to our nation.”

After the Gulf’s oil infrastructure, now nuclear sites are being targeted in the region. On Saturday, March 20th, the largest Iranian nuclear enrichment site, Natanz, is hit by Israel and the United States together, in retaliation, Iran targets the Dimona nuclear research center in Israel that same evening.

How far will the escalation go? And what could come out of it?
