Montpellier: in Pierresvives, discover the Defense and Security professions

This Wednesday, May 20, 2026, theYoung Citizens Space of the departmental domain Pierresvivesà Montpellierwill host the 4th edition of the Defense and Security Professions Forum. De 14h à 17h, les jyoung people from 16 years old will be able to meet professionals of the army, the national police, the gendarmerie and Sdis 34, in order to find out about the specificities of these professions, the areas of activity and employment prospects.

For the fourth consecutive year, the Department of Hérault organizes this meeting to discover the missions of the bodies and units which ensure the safety of the people of Hérault every day.

Professions accessible to all qualification levels

Each year, the army, air force and space army, navy, national police and gendarmerie as well as firefighters are recruiting in numbers. Combat, detection, protection but also transport, intelligence, telecommunications: the professions offered are multiple and accessible to all levels qualification.
