War drone…
The Press Service of the Ukrainian State Statistical Service more or less regularly publishes videos taken at the front on its YouTube channel. Among them, very often, are videos from combat drone pilot units, astonishing images, even shocking compared to those of “classic” wars, images often resembling those of war video games.
The latest to date and relayed by the Ukrinform press agency, this Monday, May 18, are images from the Phoenix pilot unit, representing a week of drone attacks hitting the mark against the Russian army.
Among the targets hit were those of a Russian self-propelled gun spotted in the Limansk sector, north of Odessa. “The enemy tried to hide the installation in the vegetation, but did not have time,” it states.
In this video, halfway between a psychedelic music video and a video game, other Russian targets are identified: artillery pieces, quads and other moving vehicles, military shelters and infantrymen.
And if these images are seemingly virtual, we must not forget that war remains very real…
