“Disgusting”, “disrespectful”, “illegal”: there is no shortage of strong words to describe the anger of BTS fans at the proliferation of deepfakes featuring Jungkook and Taehyung.
In the space of a few hours, TikTok screenshots showing both members in private situations completely invented have gone around the web, triggering a wave of reports the likes of which we have rarely seen. Between disgust and the need to protect their idolsARMYs are now demanding a firm response from HYBE.

To give you context, images showing Jungkook and Taehyung are circulating on social media, and it’s shocking a lot of people. These contents first appeared on TikTok, then spread like wildfire on X. Four screenshots from TikTok show scenes deemed embarrassing involving women.
You know fans spotted the use of AI and called out the creators on TikTok. The post went viral, causing a massive reaction in the community. In parallel, a debate has arisen over the use of AI to produce images of celebrities without their consent, while fans are calling on HYBE to respond and take legal action.
Some Internet users also mention the possible remedies : “Members can file a complaint for the use of AI to integrate them into images without their consent. Legal action may include invasion of privacy, defamation, unauthorized use of the image or intentional emotional distress. Let them sue! HAS”

Others above all express deep discomfort with this content and its circulation on TikTok: “It’s completely surreal, and it would make them really uncomfortable if they came across this. The fact that it’s on TikTok and they can see it, it turns my stomach. HAS”
Several Internet users also recall the risks linked to the manipulation of images of public figures without authorizationn. They criticize the dissemination of this content and demand sanctions : “These people should be banned from the Internet. How dare they imagine our idols like that, and then spread this stuff for haters to exploit? You have no dignity? No shame? Do you really think BTS would appreciate this? It’s nonsense. HAS”
Finally, some fans believe that these practices do not respect the fandom and condemn them without appeal : “Don’t call yourself ARMY if you make these kinds of images. Shame on you. HAS”
