Every two years, Army painters, artists recognized by the Army for the quality of their work, exhibit their most recent works at the Invalides, during an official exhibition; this year, exceptionally, their works travel to Saumur. Paintings, drawings and photographs vibrate to the rhythm of the “Victory” theme, with fervor, enthusiasm or contemplation. The talent of the artists reveals the depth of emotions when evoking individual and collective successes, feelings mixed with joy and sacrifice. The Cavalry Museum invites you to share these victories, tributes to the victors but also sources of inspiration in the face of adversity.
