On the occasion of the World Day against Homophobia, the Le Casino cinema, in Lavelanet, is organizing in partnership and with the support of the 15/25 Ambassadors, a special engaging and festive session around the film Pride, on Sunday May 17, at 6:15 p.m. (VO).
Carried by a universal message of solidarity, tolerance and the fight for equality, “Pride” recounts a striking true story: that of an unexpected alliance between LGBTQ + activists and British miners in the 1980s. A vibrant and moving comedy, which has become a symbol of collective mobilization and fraternity. This projection is part of a strong desire to raise awareness and share around the values of inclusion. She will be accompanied by the Contact Ariège association, engaged in dialogue between LGBTQ + people, their families and society. Because love is a right and equality is a strength, this evening invites the public to gather around an inspiring work, a bearer of hope and change.
Through this initiative, the Le Casino cinema affirms its commitment to diversity, respect and living together. A unique opportunity to combine cinema and citizenship in a friendly and meaningful moment.
