The final derby of the 72nd edition of the Coupe Gard-Lozère ended in favor of the Saliniers (2-1), who made the difference in the first half thanks to their attackers Belhadj and Mané.

Aigues-Mortes scored twice in the first half, securing their eighth victory in the Cup Gard-Lozère at home. In front of a thousand spectators, the Saliniers won the derby against Graulens on Thursday, May 15, in a final that did not reach great heights.

After a long observation period and a missed opportunity for Le Grau-du-Roi, Aigues-Mortes scored two goals, with Dupont (1-0, 20th minute) and Mané (2-0, 32nd minute) capitalizing on defensive mistakes from Graulens.

The third-ranked team in Regional 1 defeated the second-ranked team. Despite a goal from Kassa (2-1, 59th minute) in the second half, the players of Morgan Marion couldn’t completely turn the tide in their favor.

Aigues-Mortes and Sébastien Peredes secured their victory as they wanted.
