The Departmental Radiation Conservatory (CRD) of Valence Romans Agglo (Drôme) trains and supports, each year, more than 1 700 élèves of all ages, in music and dance. To discover the Conservatory sites, the teachings and meet the teams, go to the open day which will take place on Saturday May 30, 2026, from 9 h to 14 h, à Valence (House of Music and Dance) and Romans-sur-Isère (City of Music).
A rich educational offer
The Departmental Radiation Conservatory offers its students quality artistic education through various courses. Educational teams train and support children and adolescents in music and dance dès 5 ans. For adults, the Conservatory also offers the opportunity to discover or follow a musical or choreographic practice.
The diversity of the lessons offered and the courses allows students to discover varied musical aesthetics…
- classic,
- jazz,
- current and traditional music,
- old music,
- music to image, etc.
You can practice the instruments of the classical orchestra, but also old instruments (harpsichord, traverso, lute…), traditional Armenian music, singing, jazz or even current practices and instruments (drums, electric guitar, keyboards…). New digital practices are also taught (Djing, computer music, electronic music…).
Choreographic teaching is based around classical and contemporary dance. Hip-hop dance workshops are also offered.
