The first Vietnamese culture festival in Bordeaux
On Saturday May 16 and Sunday May 17, the festival offers a rich program mixing martial arts, dance, music and crafts. On the program: demonstrations of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao, exhibitions, culinary and linguistic workshops, conferences, screenings and artistic performances. “Designed for all audiences, the festival deploys a vast area of 1500m2 including competition and show space” the organizers tell us.

An unprecedented show at the organ
Highlight of the weekend, the show “Le Maître à pensées†, presented on Saturday evening, will mix urban dance, art of movement and martial arts. A visual and poetic creation of approximately 1 hour around the link between body and mind.
The event is part of a strong local history, carried for decades by associations committed to the transmission of Vietnamese culture in New Aquitaine. Organized in parallel with the Vovinam Foundation Festival, a martial art founded in 1938 and today widely practiced in France, Vietnamia highlights a booming discipline with more than 20 clubs in the region.
