The annual general meeting of the Vigatana portvendrenca took place on Saturday April 25 at the cultural center in the presence of around fifty members. All the reports and assessments for the year 2025 were unanimously approved, thus underlining the recognition of the assembly to the various activities of the Port-Vendrais foment.
From nursery schools to retirement homes, the Vigatana has intervened wherever the sardana and Catalan traditions make a connection. And the association intends to continue in this direction by continuing to participate in festive and cultural events where Catalanity and sardanas have their place (Sant Jordi, Sant Joan, Catalan festival, festa major, etc.) A culinary workshop project is envisaged in June to highlight an emblematic dish of Catalan cuisine.
The assembly concluded with the election of the office* of the foment. All participants then gathered around a friendly aperitif and tasted the bunyetes made by the members of the administration committee.
