La Sant Jordi brought together residents and families around the book and the rose. The event was organized by the media library with Virginie Champenois, in partnership with the town hall, the Community Center for Social Action (CCAS) and the after-school program with Tanya Vandenberghen, as well as the Baga twinning committee. It testifies to a great local dynamic and a strong link with Catalan culture. The day began at the media library with an exhibition of drawings by children from the village and Baga schools, as well as the presentation of a comic strip created as part of the after-school program. A thematic table made it possible to rediscover the legend, while a book exchange encouraged the transmission of a taste for reading. In the afternoon, bilingual stories and readings brought a poetic atmosphere. One of the highlights of the day was the reading of poems by Tanya, elected to the CCAS, followed by the sung poem by Jacques Vandenberghen, her dad, offering a moment full of emotion. The poem by Sasha Auguet, At the laureatededicated to his family, was unanimous and deeply moved the public.
