Cameron Diaz has been in a relationship with musician Benji Madden since 2014. They married less than a year after meeting. Both celebrities resorted to a surrogate mother to welcome their eldest daughter, Raddix, born in 2019. Five years later, the actress announced the birth of their son Cardinal.
About her role as a mother, the actress confided in an interview for Katherine Power: “I love being a mother.[…] I’m so grateful and so happy, this is the best thing that’s ever happened to me and I’m so lucky to experience this with Benji, we’re having the best time of our lives. I’m overwhelmed, I can’t believe it.”

It was on Instagram that Benji Madden announced some sweet news on May 4, 2026: “Cameron and I are happy, excited and feel so BLESSED to announce the birth of our third child, Nautas Madden. Welcome to the world son!! We love life with our family – our children are healthy and happy, and we are grateful !!! I’m having a blast. Sending you all our best wishes – the Madden family.”
In the photo of his post, the musician shared the newborn’s first name: Sailors. The latter is inspired by the Latin word “Nauta” which can be translated as “sailor”, “navigator” or “traveler”.
He is therefore the little brother of Raddix6 years old, and Cardinal2 ans.Â
