INFO PARIS MATCH – Historic audience success just over a year ago, Vincent Lagaf’s entertainment will have a daily broadcast during the 2026-2027 season.
The channel continues to believe in its game. According to our information, the entertainment “Le Bigdil,” hosted by the incomparable Vincent Lagaf’, will have a daily broadcast next season on RMC Story. Launched just over a year ago, the show had huge success, setting records on channel 23 of TNT.
On Thursday, January 2, 2025, 21 years after its end on TF1, “Le Bigdil” with Vincent Lagaf’ and Bill made a thunderous comeback on RMC Story. They were watched by 1.8 million people, accounting for 9.1% of the total audience and 19.8% of women responsible for purchases under fifty years old (FRDA-50), the primary commercial target. With catch-up on the RMC BFM Play platform, the audience had climbed to 2.34 million viewers and 10.9% of viewers aged four and older, making it the highest audience for an entertainment show in the history of TNT.
Unsurprisingly, the teams behind “Le Bigdil” knew that maintaining such high levels of viewership in the long term would be challenging. Despite a decline in audience and some disappointing evenings, the show has still maintained good levels. Over the first 50 episodes aired in a year, the show averaged 574,000 viewers in linear audience, representing 3.3% of the public and 5.8% of FRDA-50. These performances have sparked ideas within the management.
“When in January 2025, we broadcast the grand return of ‘Bigdil’ with Vincent Lagaf’ and RMC Story achieves such performances, it’s like Calais football club winning the Champions League,” says Stéphane Sallé de Chou, general manager of the RMC BFM Entertainment division to “Paris Match”. And he announces: “For the 2026-2027 season, we will turn ‘Le Bigdil’ into a daily show, airing about ten weeks per year, in an eventful manner.” The executive also hints at new special evenings, like an episode of “content creators”: “We know that McFly and Carlito would like to participate as contestants.”
