Ariana Grande is back. Two years after Eternal Sunshine, the 32-year-old American artist announced the release of a new album, titled Petal, expected on July 31st.
This eighth studio album is described by the singer as a project “full of life, growing through the cracks of something cold, hard, and difficult,” she said in a video on Instagram.
This album was co-produced with Ilya, a Swedish-Persian producer who had previously worked with Ariana Grande on her album Eternal Sunshine, as well as with Taylor Swift and Sam Smith.
World tour starting in June
This new album marks a return to music for Ariana Grande who has been more focused on her film career in recent years, particularly in the Wicked franchise where she plays Glinda, the good witch alongside Cynthia Erivo.
The singer has also been announced in the cast of My Father-in-Law, My Daughter-in-Law and Me, the fourth installment in the My Father-in-Law film series, expected in 2026, with Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller.
In early June, Ariana Grande is set to start her world tour “The Eternal Sunshine Tour,” which will begin in the United States before heading to Canada and the United Kingdom with five dates scheduled in London. So far, no dates in France have been announced.
