The municipal council of April 17 follows a logic of continuity, with the renewal of executive bodies for the 2026 elections in the background. Among the first decisions, the elected officials proceeded with the appointment of Patrice Semperboni as the representative of the municipality within Haute-Garonne Numérique, under the mission “Digital Services and Uses.” A strategic function to support the development of shared digital services.

In the same vein, the council adopted its internal regulations, mandatory for municipalities with more than 3,500 inhabitants. This document establishes the operating rules of the assembly for the duration of the mandate. Another regulatory requirement: the appointment of an ethics referent for the elected officials. The municipality chose to adhere to the mutualized scheme proposed by HGI, ensuring independent support without additional cost.

On the financial side, several deliberations were adopted. The budgetary and financial regulations (RBF), linked to nomenclature M57, were validated to enhance the readability and rigor of internal processes. In this framework of controlled flexibility, the council also authorized the fungibility of credits, allowing for budgetary adjustments within regulated frameworks without resorting to a modifying decision.

The single financial account for 2025, now a substitute for the administrative account and the management account, was approved. It shows an accumulated surplus of almost 2.5 million euros, reflecting a well-controlled financial situation. The allocation of results was decided, achieving a balance between operation and investment.

Unsurprisingly, the tax rates were kept the same as 2025, as well as all municipal tariffs. The 2026 original budget thus follows a stable trajectory, with no increase in tax pressure.

Finally, in terms of urban planning and works, the municipality integrated roads and spaces from the “Au Village” subdivision into its heritage, and approved two operations with the SDEHG, concerning public lighting and equipping the town hall parking lot.

A technical but structuring session, laying the administrative and financial foundations for the new mandate.
