The public also responded present at the Utopia cinema for two evenings marked by the first screening in France of “L’île des idéalistes” by Elisabetta Sgarbi, selected for the prestigious Italian Donatello awards. Before Talence, a final stop is planned on Friday at the Montaigne high school in Bordeaux, where students will interact with the writer Dario Levantino.

Conference and photography

On Saturday, the traditional Talence day will take place between the media library and the forum of Arts and Culture. Starting at 10:30 am, the media library will host the essayist Giulia Galeotti for a conference on “veil, meanings of a female headgear”, blending historical, legal, theological, and symbolic perspectives.

From 1:30 pm, the forum will offer the exhibition of the photographic exhibition “Views on Venice”, by Stéphane Glockner with texts by Stefania Graziano. Literature enthusiasts will then meet Jean-Hugues Larché at 1:45 pm to explore his works “Quintet de Venise” and “La mer à Venise”, an invitation to uncover the mysteries of the city of the Doges. At 2:45 pm, the writer Dario Voltolini will present “Hivernal”, a poignant story dedicated to the memory of his father.

At 3:45 pm, a new photographic immersion with “Views on Calabria” will precede a meeting at 4 pm with Tiphaine Le Gall around “D’ailleurs, ce n’est pas ma maison”, an intimate and luminous text between past and present.
