Steeve Ngouadiabantou, a native of Coulommiers, has made a name for himself as a recognized goal scorer on football fields, especially in Coulommiers and Crécy-la-Chapelle. He now dedicates his energy to the association he founded, Bantou Training. After a stint at the FC Metz training center, he chose to invest in Seine-et-Marne to pass on his values. “My motto is to educate through sports,” explains the coach for the U10 and U11 categories in Coulommiers.
He continued on this educational path in Crécy-la-Chapelle and Torcy, obtaining his professional youth, popular education and sport certificate. “I have been involved with several sports associations, one of which had a particularly strong impact on me, One Goal Academy in Meaux. I was impressed by their impact on youth, especially their teaching methods. I wanted to bring that energy back to Coulommiers,” says Steeve Ngouadiabantou.
Success from the start
The Bantou Training association was founded with a mission to bring together the residents of Coulommiers and the surrounding areas, create connections between different social classes, and transmit fundamental values.
“Respect, rigor, self-transcendence through sports, that’s what we seek in our organizations.”
Although the association was recently founded in 2025, the initial results are already promising. In late December, their very first event brought together 128 young people aged 10 to 13 from Coulommiers and nearby municipalities. Building on this success, Steeve Ngouadiabantou and his team of volunteers organized more events. On April 18, 80 players aged 17 to 20 gathered at the Templars gymnasium.
A new event is planned for Saturday, April 25, where 128 participants are expected, still at the gymnasium in the upper town. “This will be our fifth event in the neighborhood, organized at two locations: the gymnasium and the City Stadium,” said the association’s president. This indoor football event will be open to the public and will start at 8am.
